ABOUT FUNDING – NCIB
The National Crime Investigation Bureau (NCIB) is an independent, non-governmental, and non-profit organization working across India in areas such as crime prevention, cyber safety, drug de-addiction awareness, women and child protection, and social responsibility.
Our mission is not only to spread awareness about crimes but also to build a safer, more informed, and responsible society through dedicated efforts by our team and volunteers.
SOURCES OF FUNDING
NCIB does not accept any kind of government funds, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) funds, public donations, or charge any fees for its services.
The organization is entirely funded through:
- Membership fees paid by registered members.
- Voluntary financial contributions made by members from time to time.
All our operations are driven by selfless service and internal support from our own members, with no commercial or external financial dependency.
WHY IS FUNDING REQUIRED?
To effectively run our social initiatives and maintain smooth operations, financial support is essential. These funds help us to:
1. Awareness Campaigns: Organize free awareness campaigns across the country on topics such as cybercrime, drug abuse, and women’s safety.
2. Office Operations: Operate and manage our head office and multiple branch offices across different regions, covering expenses like rent, electricity, telephone bills, and other operational costs.
3. Staff Support: Cover essential expenses such as salaries for staff.
4. Training Programs: Conduct free training programs and public workshops for capacity building and awareness.
5. Kumbh Mela Camp: Set up and run a 45-day camp office every year during the Kumbh / Ardh Kumbh / Magh Mela in Prayagraj, where hundreds of NCIB members and officers provide selfless services to pilgrims. All expenses during this period are borne by the Bureau.
6. Youth Engagement: Engage and train youth through volunteer programs to promote civic responsibility.
7. Digital Infrastructure: Continuously improve our digital platforms and helpline services for better reach and support.
8. Legal & Psychological Aid: Provide free legal and psychological assistance to underprivileged and vulnerable sections of society.
TRANSPARENCY & ACCOUNTABILITY
- All contributions made by members are handled with complete transparency, honesty, and accountability.
- Every transaction is recorded and maintained under organizational norms, and progress reports and financial summaries are shared with members as and when required.
- We believe that transparency builds trust, and we are committed to upholding it in all our operations.
